Nicolet Staff have reengaged with the PLC Process (Professional Learning Communities) this year. Through this process, staff develop a shared understanding of assessments, implement common formative and summative assessments, analyze evidence of student learning, and use that evidence to learn from one another and respond to the individual needs of students!
This month, we are honoring and highlighting the 9th grade Knight Center Team of: Josh Zimmers, Tim Ustruck, Jessyca Ogyier, Kristin Susedik, Michelle Martinez, Brian Hartwig, Kevin Gonring, Melissa Hills, Amy Melik, and Cristy Bauer (not pictured). This team is constantly using data to assess where students are at and what supports they need. The group is super collaborative, constantly working to improve, using a variety of data points to drive their next steps, and always working with students at the center of their decision making!

This year's show "Mean Girls, The Musical" is
scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 1:00pm (curtain time) at Nicolet High School and performed by the Nicolet theater department and students.
FREE Tickets are available for pick-up. To obtain your tickets, simply come to the Nicolet Recreation Department Office, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, Glendale, WI 53217.
The office is open from 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Art Knights members attended a gallery opening displaying their submitted works at the University of the Wisconsin-Parkside🎨 The Art Faculty host an open house for local art students to experience their facilities, submit their own work for professional hanging and to enjoy a pizza party with other local high school artists. Nicolet was represented by Chiyou Xiong, Nina Lima, Alana Stoddard, Caitlin Reindl & Natalie Dawood.

Nicolet Union High School has a Student of the Month program to help promote academic achievement, academic growth, leadership, and resilience in the classroom. Each month, each academic department will be selecting a Student of the Month who has demonstrated and displayed these characteristics. Each Student of the Month earns Nicolet swag, bragging rights, and schoolwide recognition for being one of our top students!
The 'Sophomore Boys Performer of the Year' title goes to Birk Newman of Nicolet, who captured 29.51% of the votes (504)🏃♂️
Birk's season highlight was an impressive personal best of 15:54.00, achieved at the Dave Drexler Invitational on October 1. His dedication and outstanding performance have set the bar high for his class.

NHS German Club Officers Maddy Cooke and Sienna Clark visited German Classes at Glen Hills Middle School on Monday. The two juniors are setting up a pen pal program which aims to connect GHMS 7th and 8th graders with their peers at our partner school the Gymnasium Leopoldinum in Passau.
Maddy and Sienna were members of the 2024 GAPP Exchange.
Cocoa & Cram 2025 - Saturday, January 18th from 10am - 12noon ☕
All Nicolet students are invited to this first semester final exam study session complete with free hot chocolate, muffins, donuts, fruit and more!
