🇩🇪 GAPP Exchange Update
Berlin is a vibrant city with almost 4 million inhabitants and the last stop of our GAPP Exchange. Students immerse themselves in the history, including Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie and the Wall. We also take time to sample Currywurst.
The Nicolet Recreation Department & Nicolet Special Education Department invites vendors to the 17th Annual Autumn Artisan's Fair on Saturday, November 9th from 10:00am - 3:00pm at Nicolet Union High School 🍂
We will have booths available for up to 70 artists. If you plan to join us this year as a vendor, register early, space will fill up fast!

Online registration for the 2024-25 school year opens TODAY and will close on FRIDAY, July 26th🏫 All families must complete online registration. Residency verification and completion of the registration process is required prior to the first day of student attendance and to view class schedules.

Part of the GAPP Experience is experiencing the Alps. Students visited Berchtesgaden. After a cable car up, students experienced a summer luge and some Alpine hiking. It was a climb to the hostel, but the view is worth it. The other highlight is a subterranean salt mine.

A big part of GAPP is the two week family stay and attending classes at our partner school. We are welcomed at the train station and at the school. While at school we shadow and are taught lessons in Greek, Italian, Latin, Bairisch (the Bavarian dialect), Art, Politics & History.

⭐ German American Partnership Program (2024) Trip Update ⭐
Würzburg: Students spent two days in this lovely Franconian town. The highlight was touring the Bishop's Residence and hearing Mozart's Requiem in the Cathedral of St. Kilian.
Rothenburg: Highlights visiting this medieval walled city were Tilman Riemenschneider's masterpiece Heiligblutaltar, walking the medieval wall and the Criminal Museum, where some kids tried out the stocks.

The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin (GCAW) is proud to announce that the Nicolet Boys Golf Team has earned honorable mention recognition for their excellent work in the classroom while also participating in the 2024 WIAA boys golf season this past spring ⛳
The Team Academic All-State Award was established to recognize high school golf teams with the highest team grade point averages (‘team’ is defined as the five golfers on the roster for the boys’ spring 2024 WIAA regional tournament). The three teams with the highest cumulative team GPA in each division (1, 2, and 3) are being recognized with gold, silver, and bronze medals for each student-athlete, and their schools will receive a certificate to note this accomplishment. Schools with at least a 3.25 team GPA will receive a certificate acknowledging honorable mention status.
